We've been having significant problems with emails not getting through correctly, sorry about this. We've now reorganised things and tested, everything seems to now work correctly but if you have sent us an email in the last few months there's a good chance it never got to us. If you have not received a reply, please re-send and we'll get back to you.

As time goes on we intend to add more content to the website including a news feed, links to GoogleEarth, members forum and so on. Please bare with us during this time and use email link below so we can keep you up to date with any changes.

2020 Events

Hopefully some good fishing!

The Angling committee meets at 7:30pm on the last Thursday of each month, members are welcome to come along, meet us and make suggestions.

The Fishery

The Lansil Fishery comprises approximately 1.75 miles on both banks of the river Lune between Denny Beck below Halton weir and Howgill Brook below the Lancaster Canal aqueduct.

The river is mostly slow moving, deep and wide and, from a game fishing viewpoint is best suited to spinning and bait fishing techniques. Fly fishing is not a practical option.
